Andersen Commends Ambulance Corp.
Today's Date -- June 29, 2007
The State of Florida Department of Health recently conducted an unannounced random inspection of the Key Largo Volunteer Ambulance Corp. (KLVAC).
KLFR&EMS District Chairman, Bill Andersen commended the KLVAC for receiving a 100% rating during the State Inspection by the Emergency Medical Services Division.
The report stated the department had “Excellent Inspection -- Excellent personnel records . . . Excellent Medical Direction . . . Excellent Medical Records … Excellent Medical Direction."
The report went on to state "The citizens and Visitors of Key Largo and Monroe County can be proud of this well-run professional service.”
The division identified no deficiencies in the following areas:
Personnel Record Inspection
Service Records and Facilities Inspection
BLS Vehicle Inspection
ALS Vehicle Inspection
Equipment Test Results Inspection
The report also stated
“The citizens and visitors of Key Largo and
Monroe County can be proud of this well-run professional service. Good
job!!!”
